Chumbak Part 2 returns on October 1, bringing back Delnaaz Irani’s much-loved character Gulshan Taraporewala

Mumbai: The laughter is set to return as Chumbak Part 2 is all set to premiere on October 1. After winning audiences with its quirky characters, family dynamics and slice-of-life humour, the show is back with another chapter of Chumbak colony and their entertaining chaos.

At the heart of the madness is Delnaaz Irani as Gulshan Taraporewala, a character who has quickly become one of the most loved parts of the series. Known for her natural comic timing and warmth, Delnaaz brings a unique energy to Gulshan, making the overprotective, opinionated and loving mother both hilarious and relatable.

From her memorable performances in Yes Boss and Kal Ho Naa Ho to her work across television, films and the OTT space, Delnaaz has consistently connected with audiences through characters that feel warm and instantly familiar. As Gulshan, she takes that charm a step further, playing a Parsi mother whose love for her son Freddy often gets her involved in situations that are as chaotic as they are funny.

One of the biggest highlights of the character is the authentic Parsi flavour that Delnaaz brings to Gulshan. Rather than turning her into a caricature, the actor has paid attention to the character’s mannerisms, appearance, dressing and Hindi delivery, giving Gulshan a lived-in quality.

Her chemistry with the ensemble cast further adds to the show’s humour. Whether she is being protective about Freddy, getting involved in family matters or sharing moments with the people around her, Gulshan’s presence brings an unpredictable energy to every scene.

Beyond the comedy, Gulshan also has a softer side. She is warm-hearted, caring and genuinely concerned about the people around her. It is this combination of humour and heart that has made the character stand out.

With Chumbak Part 2 arriving on October 1, audiences can once again look forward to Chumbak colony’s madness, misunderstandings and laughter, with Delnaaz Irani returning as the ever-entertaining Gulshan.
